What you need:
- Your Internet browser must support 128-bit encryption.
- The barcode number from your printed DS-160 electronic visa application form, if applicable.
- A printer to print your appointment confirmation.
- -IMPORTANT: You must present the same DS-160 confirmation barcode number at your interview that was used to make your online appointment. Applicants presenting a DS-160 with a barcode number different than the one used to make an appointment will not be interviewed and will be required to make a new appointment. You may make changes to your appointment or DS-160 no less than 72 hours prior to your appointment. Changes will not be accepted less than 72 hours prior to the appointment.

-Current / valid passport with at least two blank pages.
-Exact change to pay for your application fee.
-Photo with plain WHITE background.
-Other documents relevant to your visa category.
How to use the NIV Appointment System:
- Complete and print a DS-160 electronic visa application form.
- Click on the "Schedule Appointment" button below to select an available date and time for an appointment.
- Enter the 10-digit barcode number from the last page of your printed electronic visa application form into the Barcode Number field, and then click "Submit".
- Select an available appointment date from the calendar.
- Select a preferred time for your appointment, and then enter your Surname, Given Name, Telephone Number, Email Address, and Identification Code.
- Verify that all the information entered is correct, and then click "Submit".
- Print the appointment confirmation page and bring it with you to your appointment.
- IMPORTANT:
--The 1st working / open Monday of each month is solely for Eswatini citizens -- If you are not an Eswatini citizen and make an appointment on the first Monday or the month, your appointment will be deleted. ESWATINI CITIZENS MAY MAKE APPOINTMENTS AS RESIDENTS OR NON-RESIDENTS on any interviewing day.
--Once you make an appointment, you will receive an appointment confirmation via email, bring this confirmation with you to your interview. We are not able to assist you in providing a copy of the confirmation if you did not receive it or if you lost it.
